Painting the Music: a piano recital of works by Bach, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Balakirev and Liszt accompanied by an exhibition of paintings narrating the lives and times of the composers. Each painting depicts the ‘story’ of the piano piece including the place(s) in which the composer dwelt and worked.
